The UAL/ISH International Graduate Scholarship offers full scholarships to students from developing countries pursuing a full-time master’s degree program at one of UAL’s six universities beginning in the 2022-23 academic year.

Scholarship Worth/Inclusions:
The UAL International Postgraduate Scholarship offers a £50,000 scholarship that covers tuition fees, accommodation in one of UAL’s residence halls and may also contribute towards living costs.
Eligibility:
Criterion 1: You must have an offer to study a full-time Master’s program at one of the 6 UAL universities starting in 2022/23.
- Your program must offer a qualification of Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MRes or MSc.
- You are not eligible if you already have a UK or overseas degree (or equivalent).
Criterion 2: You must be habitually resident in one of the low-income economic countries included in the UAL list of eligible countries (see official website) OR you are seeking asylum in the UK at the time of submitting your scholarship application.
Criterion 3: Your annual family income must not exceed £50,000 (or the equivalent in the currency of the eligible country) at the time of applying for the scholarship.
Criterion 4: As part of your scholarship application, you must submit a personal statement answering the following questions (maximum 350 words per question):
- Describe how receiving a graduate scholarship would affect you.
- Let us know how you intend to use the qualification you have acquired for your future projects
- Describe how you would address challenges in your home country
- Tell us how you would uphold the values of social justice and environmental protection
Application Instructions:
Once you have received an offer in a qualifying course, the My Funding page of your UAL application portal will be updated to show the scholarship application forms for which you may be eligible. The closing date for entries is June 13, 2022 for entries from September/October 2022 and November 2, 2022 for entries from January 2023.
To apply for the scholarship, you must have an offer in an eligible course. It is recommended to apply for a degree program as early as possible in order to receive an offer to apply for the scholarship in good time.
